Paul Gerhard Vogel

He was arrested under paragraph 175 and sent to Emsland concentration camp “for about six months my wrists were shackle and my ankles. When the SS brought food my bowl was on the floor and the soldiers poured the soup from the top so it splashed all out, I had to lick the floor to eat something. I could not get out of my cell or break free from the shackles I had to go in my pants. They call us Pigs Disgusting fags.” He was then transfer to Norway as a slave worker for the construction of roads. He was force to shovel snow barefoot during construction work. He was able to survive until the end of the war. He tried to get retribution from the German government and was denied.
